almost 9 months old. . .

It is hard to believe that in only a few days Liam turns 9 months old! We are not sure where the time went, but soon enough we will be celebrating his first birthday. When i started taking pictures of him this morning, I noticed how much he doesn't look like a baby anymore, but rather like a little boy.

. . .a bitter sweet moment. . .

the house is rented, we are on our way!

we just signed a one year lease with a sweet couple who have one daughter Cassidy's age and a baby on the way. They loved the place and we knew as soon as we met them that they were the ones. But it is a little scary because they move in April 1, and we don't know where we will be! But we trust that God knows and that everything will fall in to place.

growing up too fast. . .

The end of February is approaching and that will mark Liam's 9 month birthday. It is hard to believe he is that old already. Liam still hasn't conquered the crawling thing and would prefer just to sit back and watch the action. He is quite excited about his new word 'da da'

The kids just playing around! They have been suffering from cabin fever lately because of the cold weather.

off the market, up for rent!

steve decided to add one more thing to his resume. A landlord. Yes, as of today, we took our house off the market and have decided to keep it as an investment, and rent it out. Our refinancing for the house was approved today so when our money comes, we will be able to purchase another home in Winnipeg and will rent this home out to cover that mortgage. It has been a long journey. We have had many showings, a couple of offers but in the long run, we feel these decision will be most benificial.

still for sale. . .

Yes, the house is still for sale. I think we are most frustrated with everyone asking if it has sold yet. Believe me, the world will know when it does. We are now pondering with the idea of keeping it as a rental if it doesn't sell within the next two weeks. We would still buy a house in Winnipeg, but rent this one out to pay its own mortgage. But who knows. I still believe God will sell it for what we want and that this is just a test of faith.
here it is. . .

Aidan's favorite thing to do this winter. . .

Aidan's new favorite sport is sledding. He always asks to go to the 'big hill'. We are amazed at how fearless he is when it comes to speeding down an icy, steep hill!

old photos.....

Aidan and his cousin Julie!

I dug up some photos of the kids playing outside in our back yard this summer! they are sure going to miss there backyard! It is sad to know Liam was never old enough to really enjoy it. Although our house is not sold yet, we most likely will be upsizing in house size, but downsizing in yard size! The kids hope we can bring there 'tree fort' along, but as for the trampoline, we will have to see!

Spiderman, daddy and aidan!

Daddy, Cassi and Aidan playing around!!! Aidan and Cassidy are addicted to spiderman!

Psalm 100

"Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us and we ar his ; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name! For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations"
