Happy Birthday Sleeping Beauty

Today marks Cassidy's third birthday. Wow, three years have gone by so fast. Cassidy Anna was born at 11:50 am on friday Sept. 26, 2003. She was 6 pounds, 6 1/2 ounces and 20 7/8 inches long. She had red hair and blue eyes (and still has both!) I still remember the day of her birth and how excited we were when she found out she was a girl. She was a planned c-section at 38 weeks because of an irritable uterus during the pregnancy and other complications. Let's just say I was very excited to have her out.

Cassidy has turned into our princess. She lives in a world consumed with pink, princess, glitter and barbie. Her new obsession is Sleeping beauty. She is a very tall girl for her age and is often mistaked for being a lot older then she is. She also loves to chatter and her vocabulary is coming along quite well for a three year old. She just started Ballet this last saturday and it is rather amusing watching her little ballet class. She was so enthrawled with everything her teacher had to say and loved every minute.

We already celebrated her birthday with her cousins last week at a small party. Here is a picture of her barbie sleeping beauty cake.
Today we are off to Brandon to celebrate her second party at Grandma's house. I will share some photos of both of her parties next time.

Here are some pictures from over the years. . .

Happy Birthday Cassidy! I had lots of fun with you at the Forks the other day. I think that picture of you with a winter jacket against the sky is especially beautiful.
