Daisy

The kids have been begging for a pet. I really didn't think I could handle a dog, and Aidan is allerigic to cats. After some research, I found a free little kitten and decided we would give it a try. I brought her by the Pet store and learned some good info about having a cat when you have allergies, we also learned our little Daisy was a girl. So far, Aidan has been responding well, although kittens do not produce as much dander as an adult cat. So we will see how it goes. She is extremely playful but still loves to cuddle.
As for her name, Daisy.....it was the only name all three kids agreed on.

Maddy's got allergies as well. Ours isn't in the house all that much and Maddy never cuddles with it. And I make sure it stays off her bed...and she hasn't had too many problems. Make sure you comb it often too. Daisy sure is cute!

awe... shes so cute!! im allergic to dogs.. but not cats :-) funny huh?
we love dinah.. but really its been so much work im not sure i would of gotten her had i known in the future.
i got scratched by her and got an infected lymph gland.. had to have surgery on it.. the total cost of surgery was 6,000 dollars! we paid 500... still..

so i had to end up paying that, getting her declawed to prevent any cat scratches again... as well as flea treatments, fixing and shots to get those things done. id say we spent over 1,000.00 for her.

its all under the bridge tho and shes a great addition to our family.. shes so funny.

but be prepared! haha
for me id say a cat is better than a dog.. just because when you travel they tend to themselves... you dont have to pay a kennel to keep them.

oh! and get feline pine litter!! its amazing!! i use it w/ the special feline pine litter box.. and would never go back to traditional litter

That's so cute - I love the last picture. Aidan looks so thrilled to have his own kitty!
I've actually heard that you can build up an immunity to cats - especially to the ones that you are exposed to all the time, so hopefully Aidan's allergies won't be a problem!

Cute!
I'm allergic to cats as well but we have practices in place so that our cat really doesn't bother me at all.
She looks like a great pick! As she ages she'll send off a bit more dander- less if she's fixed- but she'll also run around less so it should all work out. Feel free to give me a shout if you have any questions! We should try to get together again soon!
